MVP Open x OTB Qualifier
We’re introducing a new pathway for regional players to earn their spot on the biggest stage at Maple Hill.
On Sunday, September 20th, eight standout competitors will compete in a one-round qualifier for a chance to play in the 2026 MVP Open x OTB.
Who’s competing?

MVP Am Side Champions (MA1 / FA1)

Cosmic Open Champions (MPO / FPO)

NEFA Points Champions (MPO / FPO)

Maine Players Tour Points Champions (MPO / FPO)
How it works:

One-round qualifier at Maple Hill
-
FPO will compete on Diamond, MPO on Gold
-
Winners will earn a spot in the MVP Open x OTB field
-
Qualifiers will have the honor of teeing off first to open the tournament
This initiative is designed to create a meaningful opportunity for regional players to compete on one of disc golf’s premier stages without impacting the integrity of the DGPT qualification process.

Two Spots in the MVP Open x OTB.
Earn your spot in the qualifier via one of four paths: the MVP Am Side, the Cosmic Open at Maple Hill presented by MVP, the Maine Players Tour, or NEFA Points.

$100 entry fee to play the Qualifier

Winner will have their entry in the tournament paid

Winner must be a current PDGA member

Limitations

This opportunity is not available to DGPT Tour Card Holders.

These players are ineligible to qualify for the 2026 Powerball Cup.

These spots are not transferable unless player is already qualified in which case it passes down to the next finisher.

These spots will be additional spots in the event and will not limit the spots earned through the standard DGPT Tour Points process for both MPO and FPO.
